Configure separate activities for registering e-mails and other documents

Although the registration of documents and e-mails uses the same internal activity within ContactsLaw, there are often different business practices surrounding e-mails than there are for documents from other sources (file system, scanner, fax machine, etc).

In particular, e-mail registration typically encompasses the process of reading the e-mail itself, as well as simply uploading it to the document library. For this reason, it is a good idea to create a separate activity for e-mail registration. You attach a journal to this activity, while typically leaving the standard document registration activity without any associated charge.

In this way, you capture the time spent reading the e-mail.
